CAMPKEEPER
CampKeeper Privacy Policy
Effective: September 22, 2026
What we collect
- Account: your name and email (via Sign in with Apple or email sign-up). We never ask for your phone number.
- Club data: club name, property boundary, stand pins, reservations, check-ins, harvest logs, dues records, rules, events — entered by you or your club.
- Photos: harvest, stand and violation photos you choose to upload.
- Guest check-ins: name, vehicle plate and phone a guest submits at the gate, visible only to that club's members.
- Push token and notification settings: so the app can deliver the club notifications you've left switched on, and skip the ones you've switched off.
What we don't do
- No live location tracking. If you allow location access, your position is drawn on your own map, on your device — it is never uploaded, stored or shared with your club. Only the stand you check into is shared.
- No ads, no selling or sharing your data with third parties.
- No analytics beyond what's needed to run the service.
Maps
Map imagery comes from Apple Maps and, for the offline map you can download for your property, from
USGS The National Map (a U.S. government public-domain service).
Loading map imagery sends the map area being viewed to those services, as any map app does. Your name,
account, club and club records are never sent with it. Downloaded map tiles are stored on your device
only and are removed when you delete the app.
Hunt reels
Hunt reels are built on your phone from the harvest's photos and details. The video is not uploaded to us;
it only leaves your phone if you share or save it yourself. You can switch the property map off in a reel.
If you unlock a reel with an in-app purchase, the list of unlocked harvests is saved to your account so it
comes back when you reinstall.
Solo mode
If you use CampKeeper without a club, your spot, stands, harvests and photos are stored on your device only.
They are not uploaded, and they are removed when you delete your account or the app.
Where it lives
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Storage) in the United States, scoped to your club — only signed-in members of your club can access club data.
Your control
- Admins can export all club data as CSV at any time (Club → Settings → Export club data).
- Deleting a club permanently removes its data.
- Delete your account any time in-app: Club tab → Settings → Delete my account. This permanently removes your profile and club membership. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke CampKeeper's Sign in with Apple token for you as part of the deletion.
- Records you created that belong to the club's shared history — harvests logged, check-ins, dues payments recorded by an admin — stay with the club after you leave, the same way a paper log book would.
Subscriptions
Club subscriptions and other in-app purchases are billed by Apple through your App Store account. To unlock the club we send Apple's
signed purchase receipt to our server to verify it; we don't see or store card or payment details. Dues
tracked in the app are records only — no money moves through CampKeeper.
